: (1) The Government of Nepal may set minimum quality standards according to the federal law to make the production, storage and sale and distribution of consumer goods including food, meat and water quality and clean.
(2) It shall be the duty of the province, local level and all concerned to comply with the standards as per sub-section (1).
(3) Other provisions related to the quality of consumer goods shall be in accordance with prevailing laws.
